A type of cognitive bias in which our overall impression of a person influences how we feel & think about their character.
The tendency to assume positive qualities cluster together eg. “attractive” people are assumed to possess a number of other favorable characteristics
What is the term for our patterns of thought that organize our experiences / knowledge?
Schemas. Allows us to enter new situations with an idea of how we & others are to act.
