Q

What is the social exchange theory about?

A

Choosing a relationship is like trying to get the maximum return (value) on your investment. Aka. The point is about getting as much as you can, maximizing the benefits, minimizing the costs.

How are you rewarded by this other person? What do they give? The primary factor of the attraction would be ‘rewarding’ (Not love)
Sounds clinical, not very romantic
