A
- obvious temporary provoked VTE (surgery, pregnancy, immobilization)
- no risk factors of family history
*3-6 months antocoagulation

A
- ≥ 2 unprovoked VTE
- 1 unprovoked VTE but causing a life-threatening PE
- 1 unprovoked VTE with genetic defects or family history
