What is the independant variable?
A
The independant stands alone and isn’t changed by the other variables you are trying to measure. Eg, someone’s age might be an independent variable.

What is the dependant variable?
A
The dependant varible depends on other factors. Eg, a test score could be a dependent variable as it could change depending on how much you studied, how much u slept.

What ae you trying to find out in an experiment with the dependant and independant varible?
A
In experiments you want to find out how the independent variable affects the dependent variables.
