It widened the gap because some folk got richer quickly while many others remained poor

The aristocracy are the richest level, royal blood, Earls, dukes, barons, lords, ladies living in a manor or an estate
Describe the aristocracy’s connection to land.
The aristocracy often owned vast properties and lived on those estates; they owned the cottages where the workers lived.
Who comprised the middle class?
Middle class = new opportunities for money. Industrialists, factory owners, investors, doctors and lawyers
Describe living conditions for the majority of the working class
Living conditions were cramped, unsanitary and had no rubbish collection. Houses were stuck close together.
