- Headache

- Suppresses virus
- Reverses damage done to immune system
What is a challenge to HIV treatment?
HIV is continually changing and becoming resistant to medication

- Discharge
- Conjunctiva tissue scars –> blindness

- ELISA (on penal / vaginal secretions or urine)
- Cultures (from penal / vaginal secretions or urine)
Elisa the cultured nurse will tell you if you have Chlamydia (Elisa kinda rhymes with Chlamydia)
