Pouvoir passer jusqu’à 6 heures par jour à jouer aux jeux vidéos était le rêve de Nick.

Nick n’a pas pu faire face à toutes les difficultés auxquelles il était confronté. Il n’était pas assez mûr.

C’est impossible ! Sa mère n’a pas pu le laisser faire de l’ordinateur pendant des heures et des heures sans se rendre compte qu’il y avait un problème. Elle n’a pas pu être si naïve !

Selon moi, le comportement de Nick a dû beaucoup effrayer ses parents.

Sa mère n’a pas eu le choix. Elle a dû faire soigner son fils.
His mother didn’t have a choice. She had to get/have her son treated.
Il a pu penser au début qu’il n’était pas accro à l’ordinateur, mais il avait tort
(At the beginning,) He may/might have thought he was not addicted to the computer (at first) but he was wrong.
Grâce aux médecins, Nick a pu reprendre une vie normale.
Thanks to (the) doctors, Nick was able to resume a normal life.
Video - Designers embrace collaborative approach
Today, designers must design service & products with an old population in mind (the elderly).
Collaborative approach : working with the users to fully understand what they need and what is going to work for them. (bananas : show me what phone you want - simple, practical…) They are often hard of hearing.
Flop : Microsoft Zune MP3 supposed to compete with the iPod, launched in 2006.
