7.3.1-Blessing Flashcards
Atmosphere:
Definition:An atmosphere is the layers of gases surrounding a planet or other celestial body. Earth’s atmosphere is composed of about 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and one percent other gases.
Altitude:
Definition:
the height of an object or point in relation to sea level or ground level.
Destiny
Definition:
the events that will necessarily happen to a particular person or thing in the future.
Troposphere
Definition:
the lowest region of the atmosphere, extending from the earth’s surface to a height of about 3.7–6.2 miles (6–10 km), which is the lower boundary of the stratosphere.
Stratosphere
Definition:the layer of the earth’s atmosphere above the troposphere, extending to about 32 miles (50 km) above the earth’s surface (the lower boundary of the mesosphere).
Mesosphere
Definition:
the region of the earth’s atmosphere above the stratosphere and below the thermosphere, between about 30 and 50 miles (50 and 80 km) in altitude.
Thermosphere
Definition:The thermosphere is a layer of Earth’s atmosphere that is directly above the mesosphere and below the exosphere. It extends from about 90 km (56 miles) to between 500 and 1,000 km (311 to 621 miles) above our planet.
Exosphere
Definition: the outermost region of a planet’s atmosphere.
Temperature
Definition:
a body temperature above the normal; fever.

Definition:the nature of something’s ingredients or constituents; the way in which a whole or mixture is made up.
elevation
Definition:1 : the height to which something is elevated: such as. a : the angular distance of something (such as a celestial object) above the horizon. b : the degree to which a gun is aimed above the horizon. c : the height above the level of the sea : altitude.

Definition:cause (something, especially an emotion or situation) to arise or come about.
hazard
Definition:a danger or risk.

Definition:a substance that pollutes something, especially water or the atmosphere.
property
Definition:a thing or things belonging to someone; possessions collectively.
radiation
Definition:Radiation is energy that comes from a source and travels through space at the speed of light. This energy has an electric field and a magnetic field associated with it, and has wave-like properties. You could also call radiation “electromagnetic waves”.
relative
Definition:considered in relation or in proportion to something else

Definition:(of an object or structure) not likely to give way or overturn; firmly fixed.
structure
Definition:the arrangement of and relations between the parts or elements of something complex.
surface
Definition:.
the outside part or uppermost layer of something (often used when describing its texture, form, or extent).
uninhabitable
Definition:
: not safe or suitable to be lived in.
