A

Between sunset and sunrise

  • serve the landing runway
  • serve a runway to which an approach is being made but a/c will land on another runway

Between sunrise and sunset

  • ceiling is less the 1000’ or prevailing vi is 5 miles or less
  • landing runway served by the lights
  • a runway serbed by the lights but a/c are landing on another runway
  • a/p but landing will made ona runway served by the lights
  • as requested by the pilot
  • as you deem necessary, not contrary to pilot’s request
