What were Theodore Roosevelt’s accomplishments as President? Discuss at least three of them.

Theodore Roosevelt believed that peace could be kept by diplomacy and by being prepared for war. Because of these beliefs, he strengthened our country’s defenses by increasing the number of American battleships and armored cruisers. He even sent some of them, “The Great White Fleet,” on a tour around the world to show hostile nations that we could not be attacked without grave consequences. he used his skill ind diplomacy to settle a war between Russia and Japan, an act that earned him the Nobel Prize for peace. He negotiated a treaty with Panama to allow the building of the Panama Canal. he also worked to conserve our forests and other natural resources.
