there is a rash which has a slapped cheek appearance and a lace like rash on the extremities which manifest on the arms first

A
- antipyretics, antipruritic, and analgesics
- no aspirin
- notify child’s school of the infection
- dim lights and keep child out of sun

A
calamine lotion for topical relief, keep skin dry and clean, dress child in lightweight loss clothes, good oral hygiene, and change linens daily
