5. Qulification Requirements

Qualification requirements flight crew member 5.1.2.1

• ATPL (IR and TR)
• valid pasport
• medical certificate Class 1
• reliable record of flights flown
• LPE level 4 or higher
• successfully completed conversion course
• successfully completed command course
• successfully completed recurrent and checking
• 3 TOs and Landings in preceding 90 days (max 120 days under LIFUS)
• completed route and aerodrome competence qualification
• completed CRM training

LVO qualification 5.1.2.7

LVTO and CATII/III:
- successfully completed LVO training and checking
- for CAT III: made at least 2 autolands during LIFUS or in simulator
- flight crew member, trained and qualified in accordance with OM part D2, is qualified to operate during the conduct of LIFUS to the lowest approved DA/H and RVR as stipulated in the OM.
- should be properly qualified prior commencing LVP (RVR below 400m).

PF with CATII / III 5.1.3.7

Cpt shall be PF, or when a commander is receiving LIFUS, the captain under supervision shall be PF, while the commander shall be PM.

• Cat A = no qualifications requirements
• Cat B = be briefed, or self briefed by means of OMC about the extra considerations applicable - check table OMC2 - 2.7 - 2
• Cat C = visit aerodrome as an observer and/or undertake instruction in a suitable flight simulator.
