  • responsible for safety of all crew, pax and cargo on board, as soon as he arrived on board until he leaves the plane.
  • not allow persons under influence
  • responsible for operation from moment ac ready to move for purpose of taxiing prior TO until ac comes to rest and engines are shut down.
  • sterile flight deck when necessary
  • final responsibility for functions, duties and tasks associated with operational control of the flight.
  • do not stimulate abnormals
