2.Can issue executive orders.
3.Appoint cabinet, secretaries and head
of agencies with senate confirmation.
4.Submits a yearly budget to fund departments with Congress approval

Guides foreign policies and meet with foreign leaders. Can make treaties with 2/3 Senate ratification.
Commander in chief
Head of military can order military strikes, and send troops into combat, but only Congress can declare war
Chief legislator
Lays out legislative agendas and gives state of the union address to Congress.
Only congress can pass laws and Congress can override presidential veto
