Architectural Barriers Act of 1968
1st federal law to require barrier-free designs for buildings that are constructed, altered, leased, or financed w/any federal funds
Rehab Act of 1973
Prohibits public and private entities that receive federal funds from discriminatinging against people w/disabilities
Fair Housing Amendments of 1988
Extends the nondiscriminatory protections of the fair housing act to people w/disabilities and their families
