Q

Stages of meiosis

A
  1. DNA unravels and replicated to form chromatids
  2. DNA condenses and forms double armed chromosomes made from SISTER CHROMATIDS joined by a CENTROMERE.
  3. First division - Chromosomes arrange into homologous pairs which are separated
  4. Second division - Centromere is divided which splits the sister chromatids
  5. Four haploid cells are produced
