Q

Conflicts can occur between different groups in communities as they perceive different things -

A

Conflicts about regeneration in communities often arise due to disparities in how different groups perceive the benefits and consequences of redevelopment projects. These projects can lead to gentrification, where long-term residents are displaced due to rising costs and changing neighbourhood dynamics. For example the 2011 Race riots where it highlighted the differences of marginalisation and the conflict of some groups along with urban deprivation and poor relationship between police and black community all lead to such areas
