Q

Installed CO2 fire suppression system

A

1of 3 activation stations go to your 2 25 lb CO2 bottles then go to your first pressure switch. This is ur air shut offs, pre discharge light, and 10% of ur siren. Then it hits ur 30 second delay bottle, u can manually by pass this bottle. After the 30 second delay bottle it hits pressure switch number 2 this is ur discharge light.lastly is pressure switch number 3 this is the engine room dampener. And then CO2 is discharged above STBD side MDE

52
Q

What temperature does the metal rod in the engine room have to reach in order for it to activate the installed fire suppression system?

A

190°F

53
Q

Fire extinguishers?

2 10lb PKP
One of each in the survivors comp and enclosed bridge

54
Q

A

Vessels tendency to return upright.
Decreases between 70° & 110° of heel before it increases drastically. Beyond 110° the righting arm increases dramatically acting to right the vessel.
