What impact has regional influence had on Kingston?
Kingston utilises the River Thames to attract locals to locals to visits the area. This creates a source of income via the beautiful restaurants available. It is also very attractive hotspot for people to just sit down. There are boat trips available, which also provide the locals with entertainment, solely dependable on the local river.
What impact has national influence had on Kingston?
Kingston has entertainment facilities all within very close proximity from the train station, which can connect people to London Waterloo. From here they are able to access national hotspots. This includes La Rotunda, which is less than a minute walk from the station. It is in here you are able to go bowling, eat a meal, or even a cinema. This draws in interest from people from a wide area.
What impact has international influence had on Kingston?
Kingston provides an insight into many different cultures around the world. This includes restaurants such as Narenj, which is a Persian restaurant. All of these introduce new traditions into Kingston, which can be embraced by community. This interests many people from areas further away, many who might be from an area in which the international influence originates.
What impact has global influence had on Kingston?
The Bentalls centre provides shopping opportunities for people, from furniture and healthcare products, to clothes and food stands. These include Transnational Corporations (TNCs), including McDonald’s, H&M, Superdry etc. These allows people in the local area to access products made globally. As a result, this attracts more people to come visit Kingston.

Superdiversity - e.g. Southall, in West London, where there is an increased mixed Indian and Somali community.
