Bomb/WMD Investigation
PURPOSE
424.01 SAFETY
JFRD personnel need to be constantly alert to the possibility that incidents they respond to could involve WMDs.
All JFRD personnel shall respond to a Bomb/WMD investigation in full structural PPE.
If it is suspected or determined that an incident was caused by a bomb, JFRD personnel will not enter the perimeter until cleared by the ____ ____ ___. Exceptions to this are ___ ___ ___ locations. The JFRD ___ ___ will make this determination.
The possibility of more than one bomb at an incident is an important consideration.

JFRD OPERATIONS

The JFRD’s responsibility at a Bomb/WMD investigation is fire suppression and emergency medical care only.
Staging
The first-arriving company will direct incoming units to the ___ area.
