what is asexual reproduction?
Asexual reproduction produces one identical plant clone
pros of asexual reproduction
-one parent saves time and energy to produce a new generation
-can occur quickly and produce high numbers
cons of asexual reproduction
-offspring is identical which difavors unstable enviorments
-overcrowing can occur
in asexual reproduction a new plant grows from a part of a single parent plant. Examples being:
-Bulbs
-Cuttings (shoots with leaves attached)
-Roots or Tubers
-Runners (side stems)

an angiosperm is a flowering plant that contains fruits, seeds surrounded by ovary
Gymosperm
sexual reproduction
No flowers, but the seeds are found in scales like a pinecone
