A

stomata are tiny spores in the leaves that control the exchange of gasses (oxygen and carbon dioxcide)

how do guard cells work?

A

-Guard cells open and close dthe stomata due to osmosis
then guard cells are full of water they sweel and expand to open the stomata
when guard cells shrink they cover the stomata to close it
