Sexual reproduction in angiosperms

A

Angiosperms use seeds to reproduce, angiospersm prodice flowers that have both male and female parts
- the ovaries of a fertalized flower dvelop into a fruit where the seeds are housed
- the fruit protects the seed and help disperse the seed

  • -their seeds are dveloped in cone like strutures such as pinecones
  • the pinecones have scales which can protect the seed and eventually open it to depost the seed when the conditions are right
