4.102 Arrests Without Warrants

In regards to Arrest Without Warrants, a supervisor will ensure what during releasing property of an Arrestee?

Answer 1

All property to be released will be documented on a Property Report (LVMPD 67A) and the report will be completed and signed by the third party. The officer will request the presence of a supervisor for cash being released valuing over $100 or for non-cash property being released valuing over $250 (see LVMPD 7.136, Body Worn Cameras).

a. The supervisor will sign the Property Report prior to the arrestee being transported to the appropriate correctional facility.
