What nerves innervate the thoracic wall? (intercostal nerves)
A
Intercostal nerves which are the anterior rami of spinal nerves T1-T11 and lie in the intercostal spaces between adjacent ribs.
The ventral ramus of spinal nerve T12 is inferior to the 12th rib.
-> Sympathetic and somatic innervation
