Q

What is a joint probability

A

a prob that reflects the outcome of 2 different events

  • ex. what is the prob that it will be raining AND the temperature is > 10C
  • this would be the intersection of P(AandB)
  • example P(A) - 30%, P(B) = 5% P(Aand B) (the intersection) is 10%
