1
Q
In Conditional Probability, the probe of one event is
A
influenced by whether a related event already occurred
2
Q
What does P(A|B) mean
A
Prob of event A given that event B has occurred or
Prob of A given B
3
Q
What is the formula for P(B|A)
A
P(B|A) = P(A and B) / P (A)
4
Q
What is a joint probability
A
a prob that reflects the outcome of 2 different events
- ex. what is the prob that it will be raining AND the temperature is > 10C
- this would be the intersection of P(AandB)
- example P(A) - 30%, P(B) = 5% P(Aand B) (the intersection) is 10%
