Cognitive bias; not explicitly discriminatory but influences decision making process

skill testing questions recruits generate the solution to. mean to aid hiring process by looking at critical thinking skills
What is the difference between social and human capital?
Human capital - humans as resources; knowing if they have education, training etc. makes people valuable
Social capital - who you know; networking and connections (not people who are close to you, but people the introduce you to)
How is cultural fit influential to the hiring process? (Rivera)
Perceived similarity is often more important than skills; wanting to be comfortable in the workplace; personal feelings matter in interviews b/cuz people get excited when others have similar backgrounds to them
