What is market form?
Manufactured standard shapes and sizes of material, wood or metal available to buy commercially
What is the advantage of having knowledge of market forms and shapes and sizes of material?
- Ensures that project costs are kept to a minimum
- By using pre-cut material, time is saved and labour costs are reduced
- It is also better for the environment to use market forms as there is less waste material
