3.5 Emergency Core Cooling Systems Flashcards
3.5.1 Accumulators
Four ECCS accumulators shall be Operable
Modes 1 and 2
Mode 3 with RCS Prs >1000psig
D. 2 or more accumulators inoperable
D.1 Enter LCO 3.0.3 - Immediately
3.5.2 - ECCS - Operating
Two ECCS trains shall be Operable
Modes 1, 2, and 3
C. Less than 100% of the ECCS flow equivalent to a single Operable ECCS train available
C.1 Enter LCO 3.0.3 - Immediately
3.5.3 ECCS - Shutdown
One ECCS train shall be Operable
Mode 4
A. Required ECCS RHR system inoperable
A.1 Initiate action to restore required RHR subsystem to Operable Status - Immediately
B. Required ECCS CCP inoperable
B.1 Restore CCP to operable status - 1 hr
3.5.4 Refueling Water Storage Tank
The RWST shall be Operable
Modes 1, 2, 3, and 4
B. RWST inoperable for reasons other than Cond A
B.1 Restore RWST to Operable status - 1 hr
3.5.5 Seal Injection Flow
RCP seal injection flow resistance shall be >/= 0.227 ft/gpm^2
