  4. When dealing with victims of sex crimes or child abuse
  5. to record personal conversations between other members of the department without the recorded members permission/knowledge
  6. Whenever it would compromise the identities/ techniques of undercover officers
  7. during strip searches
  8. At the request of potential witness
  9. whenever a witness or victim requests they not be recorded and the situation is not confrontational
  10. when the victim requests they not be recorded as a condition of cooperation.
