Archer (2010) said many W/C girls are failing due to having a boyfriend.
How so?
A
They get in the way of completing school work to a high standard and lowered aspirations. Girls with boyfriends aspired to settles down and have children and work in local working class feminine jobs such as childcare and hairdressing.
