- This is a story about how Jesus ‘called’ the first disciples.
- Jesus showed Peter, James and John that his authority affected every area of their lives.
- Peter learned that no area of his life was closed to Jesus.
- To be a disciple involved allowing Jesus into the heart of his life and recognising that with his power there was nothing he could not achieve.
