What is ‘critical analysis’?
An in-depth, objective study of a design, or elements of it.
What are product recalls?
Taking products off the market and asking consumers to return them, due to faults that must be rectified, usually for safety reasons. An example of this is the Boeing 787 Dreamliner having to be recalled due to lithium-ion batteries catching fire.
What are ‘objective (third party) views’?
Opinions that are independent of any influence from interested parties.
What does UKAS do?
United Kingdom Accreditation Service is responsible for checking and monitoring the work of many agencies that certification testing and inspection of products and their manufacture.
What does a UKAS accredited organisation do?
Publish a range of standards used in the design and manufacture of products.
