The SOHO Router
All in one device.
Modem, router, switch, wireless AP, firewall, etc.
Routing and switching
Switches connect to routers to access all external content.
- Via WAN, DSL port etc.
Since the router receives MAC addresses with the switch communications, the router can control access with MAC filtering.
Not much to configure.
Access point settings
Enable/ disable frequencies
- 2.4GHz ir 5GHZ
- Available options depend on the wireless standard used.
Configure SSID (Visible discover name listed)

End-user device configures based on router
