It is a project that aims to enhance the income of tribals through better utilization of and value addition to Minor Forest Produce (MFP) collected by the tribal forest gatherers

What are the 3 stages of food processing ?

Primary : Basic cleaning, grading and packaging

Secondary : Alteration of the basic product to a stage just before the final preparation as in case of milling of paddy to rice

Tertiary : Leads to a high value added ready to eat food like bakery products, instant foods, health drinks etc
