About Project Dolphin ?
It is aimed at conservation of Gangetic Dolphins – both riverine as well as oceanic dolphins in India
Aims to conserve dolphins in aquatic habitat using modern technology especially in anti-poaching activities

1) National aquatic animal of India
2) Found in Ganga, Meghna, Brahmaputra river systems
3) IUCN – Endangered
4) WLPA – Schedule 1
5) CITES – Appendix 1
About Project Lion ?
Aimed at conservation of India’s Asiatic lions. It will focus on habitat development, engaging technologies in lion management , addressing lion related diseases
About Asiatic Lion ?
1) Confined to Gir NP and its surrounding environments in Gujarat (Saurashtra)
2) IUCN – Endangered
3) WLPA – Schedule 1
4) CITES – Appendix 1
