It was a mission launched in 2014 to have inclusive growth of farm mechanization to boost productivity

To promote the usage of farm mechanization and increase the ratio of farm power to cultivable unit area upto 2kW/ha

How does the scheme function ?
A
1) Individual farmers are also provided subsidy for procurement if machinery
2) Promoting Custom Hiring centres
3) Creating hubs for high tech and high value equipments
4) Ensuring performance testing and certification

Why is it called Submission ?
A
Because it is under an umbrella scheme called Green Revolution – Krishi Unnati Yojana which has 11 sub schemes under it
