Mile end now disconnected from the rest of London meaning lack of investment from businesses & TNCs, resulting in less education etc.
Social media describes it as “dirty”, low environmental quality has driven down house prices.
Marshland not nice to look at deterring tourists and businesses
Proximity to London creates an even bigger divide

Racism leading to segregation leading to dscrimination ,eaning Bengali struggle for jobs, meaning they turn towards crime, which ends up destroying their future.

Soho reputation of “night life and prostituies” acts as push factor to elderly and religious community from moving or investing.
