1
Q

histo - proliferative endometrium

A

due to E –> increased endometrial tissue

basalis is bottom later with stem cells
top 2/3 is functionalis –> few tubular glands coiled with a lot of stroma

Q

histo - secretory endometrium

A

due to P from corpus luteum

day 16/17 early - subnuc vacuoles, stromal edema day 18/19 mid - supranuc vacuoles, spiral arteries
day 21/11 late - vacuoles secreted in lumen, no more mitosis

day 22 - secretory endometrium is 2-5 x thicker than proliferative endo w/ saw-tooth arrangment of glands; hyper secretory

day 23/24 -

menstrual
