2.1.1 Reactor Core Safety Limits

Answer 1

Shall not exceed combination of Thermal power/Highest RCS Tcold and Pressurizer Pressure per COLR
This shall prevent exceeding DNBR of ≥ 1.14 and maintain fuel centerline temperature < 5080°F, decreasing 58°F per 10,000 MWD/MTU of burnup.

APPLICABILITY: Modes 1 and 2

ACTIONS
Restore compliance and be in Mode 3 within 1 hour

2.1.2 RCS Pressure Safety Limit

Answer 2

RCS Pressure shall be maintained ≤ 2733.5 psig.

APPLICABILITY: Modes 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5

ACTIONS
In Mode 1 and 2, restore compliance and be in Mode 3 within 1 hour
In Mode 3, 4, and 5, restore compliance within 5 minutes.
