If OC started on 1st day of menses, use an additional non-drug form of contraception for the first week of therapy
Take pills at the same time each day for max effectiveness
Amoxicillin and doxycycline may decrease effectiveness of OC’s
None of these meds protect against HIV, AIDS, STDs
