Piaget thought the child develops internally while Vygotsky thought they needed help
Piaget thought development was due to genetics, Vygotsky thought it was due to culture
How was Vygotsky similar to Gestalt psychologists?
Opposed to reductionism and atomism
Zone of proximal development is similar to the Gestalt idea of re-configuring problems
