3 types of diabetic feet:
Neuropathic-numb + warm + dry + foot pulses + ulcers at pp
Ischemic-cold + pulseless + ulcers at margin
Neuro-ischamic=numb + cold + pulseless + ulcers at pp & margin
Why might the diabetic foot be dry?
Autonomic neuropathy-no excretions on foot
3 signs of DKA:
Hyperglycaemia
Ketones in urine
Metabolic acidosis
