16
Q

Where is the emergency battery located?

A

In avionics bay

17
Q

What monitors the polarity and voltage of the supplied external power?

A

External Power Monitor

18
Q

What does the EPM monitor for?

A
  • Incorrect polarity

- Voltage not between 24 V and 30 V

19
Q

In normal operation, what powers the BATT BUS and GEN 1 BUS?

A

GEN 1

20
Q

In normal operation, what powers the GEN 2 BUS?

A

GEN 2

21
Q

What supplies power to the MISSION BUS?

A

The BATT BUS

22
Q

What services are powered by the MISSION BUS?

A
  • MC
  • UFCP
  • RMFD
  • PMM CB
23
Q

What services does the Emergency Bus power through the emergency battery?

A
  • SFD
  • ADU
  • MHS
  • Inertial Separator System (Intake Bypass)
24
Q

What does the Reset button do on electrical control panel? How many times should this be attempted?

A
  • Resets a GCU if it has been tripped

- Should only be attempted once

25
Q

What does the BTC switch do?

A
  • It allows the pilot to isolate the BATT BUS, GEN 1 BUS and GEN 2 BUS from each other which allows the BATT BUS to be de-energized
  • This allows services from GEN 1 and GEN 2 BUS to be retained.
26
Q

What do Red, Amber, Green, and Grey mean on the electrical system page?

A

Red (warning) = Equipment off line and some system function missing
Amber (caution)= Equipment off-line but no system function missing
Green (correct) = Equipment online
Grey = Electrical connection not active

27
Q

What are the current and voltage bands for the GPU?

A

0 –> 300 A

24 –> 30 V

28
Q

What electrical system information is shown on the bottom right of the EMD?

A
  • BATT BUS voltage

- Sum of two battery currents
