Details about NZ
In Kaikoura, mainly rose by 1.5m, 6m in some areas
South rose up
Glaciers formed where in NZ
At the north of it
What happens when glaciers form
Land they form on sinks due to the glaciers’ weight - decrease height
Opposite pole rises up forming an emergent coastline - increase height
What happens when glaciers melt
Isostatic rebound
Describe isostatic rebound
Land where glaciers were rises up and sea level falls
