  1. Boil leaf for 1 minute
  2. Turn off Bunsen burner
  3. Place leaf in test tube of ethanol in the
    warm water until it turns white
  4. Rinse leaf in cold water
  5. Place leaf on a white tile and add 1-2 drops of iodine solution and observe color change
