- not wasting resources/damaging lives of employees
- many consumers avoid buying products associated with child labour/sweatshop

ADV:
- protect natural world
- competitive adv = added value =premium price
- good PR = marketing campaign sustainability strategy
DIS:
- cost to implement
- people = fake marketing strategy/purpose
- not receive monetary benefit

-degree of beauty/style perceived by user, some consider this key differentiating feature = precedence over others
economic manufacture
-has to make profit, must be capable of being manufactured at cost below selling price if = viable

meeting the needs of today without damaging future needs
