Family definition

What is an extended family
a family composed of parents, children and other kin. Also called a consanguine family
What is a nuclear family
A family composed of one or two parents and their children. Also called conjugal family

System that traces kinship through women, children are only related to others through their mothers. Mothers pass property to their daughters.

Kinship traced through both men and women, both sides included as child’s relatives
