What was the cause of the Montgomery bus boycott
Rosa park getting arrested was the main cause
Why was Rosa Parks significant
She was a well respected, middle aged, married person in her community. There was nothing people could use to make her look bad

What were the events the bus boycott
An organisation called the MIA and Martin Luther King decided to continue their boycott until their demands were met.
They knew some people couldn’t walk to work so on the 12 December the first car pool was set up and enventually had over 300 cars
This boycott made their lives less comfortable as they were getting fired and harrassed
As the boycott went on the actions of the white people became more extreme for example they bombed king and others homes, gaining lots of publicity
