Tucked behind the cecum

What are the names of the ligements coming off the liver?
R triangular, coronary ligamnet and L triangular (superiorly)
Falciform ligament (divides lobes, peritoneal reflection), round ligament/ligamentum teres (obliterated umbilical vein)
What impressions are on the left and right lobes of the liver?
Left: gastric impression
Right: Renal, duodenal and colic impression
What are the lobes of the liver?
L lobe, caudate lobe (superior), quadrate lobe (inferior), R lobe
What is the order of structures in the portal triad?
Proper hepatic artery to the left, common bile duct to the right/in front and portal vein behind
What is the venous drainage of the liver?
Via hepatic veins directly into IVC
In relation to the pancreas, where are the superior mesenteric artery and vein?
SMA/SMV run over the uncinate process and under the neck of the pancreas, hooking over
What does the accessory pancreatic duct drain?
Distal head an uncinate process of the pancreas
What ribs can puncture the spleen when fractured?
Ribs 9, 10, 11
